Project Overview

Kansas City Girls Preparatory Academy (KCGPA) is Kansas City’s first and only public single-gender school whose mission is to prepare young women to use their voices, succeed in college, and lead impactful, meaningful lives. My position was working as their digital marketing and development intern and was my first experience working in the public relations and marketing industry. Some of the roles I took on this position were: 

• Researching potential partners and benefactors 

• Establishing a solid social media presence 

• Graphic design work on mailers
